With experience spanning editorial, tour, and private client work, Mateo began his career backstage at Fashion Week with Paulina Porizkova, followed by seven years touring with Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. He has also worked with artists including Billy Joel, Gwen Stefani, Ricky Martin, and Adele.
In addition to hairstyling, Mateo is a certified esthetician with a focus on radio frequency skin therapy and non-invasive rejuvenation techniques.
His approach is calm, attentive, and detail-driven—centered on listening, subtlety, and personalized care.

JT specializes in classic and contemporary barbering with a focus on precision, structure, and clean, timeless results. His work ranges from traditional scissor techniques and straight-edge shaves to modern fades, with an emphasis on refinement rather than trend-driven styling.
In addition to his craft, JT leads the operational and brand direction of Mateo House of Beauty, overseeing business strategy, client experience, and visual identity. His role centers on maintaining a high standard of quality, consistency, and thoughtful presentation across all facets of the studio.
His approach combines technical skill with a calm, detail-oriented demeanor, ensuring clients feel confident, comfortable, and well cared for.
Dr. Brenda Balch
LICENSED MEDICAL SPA CLINICIAN
Dr. Balch oversees the medical spa operations, clinical protocols, and client safety. She reviews all treatment plans and consent processes, ensuring that services are delivered safely, ethically, and with appropriate care.
Her expertise includes radio frequency and IPL technologies, with a focus on skin tightening, resurfacing, and corrective treatment. She provides clinical oversight and guidance for the studio’s advanced aesthetic services.
